We retrieved this footage yesterday from a camera in the Bug Creek Pack territory. The video shows all of the wolf footage (along with some other critters!) recorded on this camera from December 1 to April 10, our wolf pack/population survey period. We can confidently say there is at least one big fluffy old wolf in the area! This one example highlights the fun and challenge of estimating wolf pack size and understanding wolf pack dynamics during winter using trail cameras. The largest pack size
